what a great idea
Sunday, December 9th
[11:59pm]
I came across this site recently.
You have to take a look, scan through the archives, or
search based on keywords or a list of catagories.
Lots of very interesting ideas.
This is interesting also, it's titled "Shut the fuck up."
back to the grey

New color theme is up. Off to play more Baldur's Gate, it's quite addictive. Set to record another demo this coming weekend. With this year's money situation,
look for demo EPs with little bows on them for christmas.
Oh yeah - subtle layout tweaks, foot, left margin...
my bong was out
Monday, December 3rd
[7:08am]
This was a nice weekend off. Got a new demo recording done. Thanks Robb. It's a
funny little pot ditty, and hey - it's just a song. Download Hear For now it's called 'moving on' but I'm not so sure
that's the final title. Got any ideas? I'd be glad to hear them. Email me. It comes in at a cute little 2 minutes
and 15 seconds. Lisa takes the lead vocal on this one, it's a little high for me. Heh heh - a little high. Ahhh - that was funny. Right?
toned down a little

[1:23am]
Just hit metafilter... Georger Harrison has
died.
[1:09am]
Still tweaking... moved the header in the update div, gave the update div a background color, and added a "home" in the nav. I suppose
it's about damn time.
[12:19am]
I made some subtle layout tweaks. Moved the main content div up a bit, reduced the header size a bit, and halved the
update div border down to a sexy 1 pixel.
I also reorganized my right hand menu a bit. Just plain clickables - places I visit regularly during my online travels. And then added projects. These are websites I've had the pleasure of being involved with. (Still waiting for lisawwood.net's DNS change to propigate, though by the time some of you read this - it may have reached you.)
bit of a disadvantage
Monday, November 26th
[5:08pm]
I'm working at a bit of a disadvantage here. I'm uploading changes to my new host, but I can't yet see those changes. So when all this
finally pops live - I may have missed something.
Now that wasn't so bad. Approximately an hour for a new site color theme? And that includes making the first batch of 10 or so splash images. Not bad at all. It's all thanks to css.
On the new host note... I'm going to finally have php. This means that with some study and experimentation I should be able to nix this whole javascript sheet picking, and be able to do it all where it should be done - the back end. Uh huh-huh back end.
One more note. It's been a while since my last update (longer when his finally goes live to the world) about 15 days I think. The first 10 days I was working on finishing up nurseryroom.com for pop. This was all well and good. Long days, long week. In fact, this was the longest/most I have ever worked in my entire life. I was about to say approximate hours, but that probably isn't appropriate. The last 5 of the past 15 days I've been sick. The most/worst sick I've been in my life that I can remember. Today I almost went to work.
I didn't though. And after feeling I needed a nap after taking a shower - I suppose it was the right decision. I just feel so tired. Just being awake tires me out.
Oh yeah - the demo 'before today' got some press online at goodfootcentral. How cool is that? Hopefully we'll get another couple recorded this coming weekend.
If I can sing by then that is. Fuck - I hate being sick.

the greatest and best song in the world
Thursday, November 15th
[3:05pm]
this is the greatest and best song in the world... tribute.
well - the tenacious d show is tonight, I've been at work for about 14 hours today (1am to 3pm) time for a nap and some rock.
unlike those we had in mind

who are we to question answers unlike those we had in mind.
Working away still. I'll be done here tonight around 12 or so, another major review tomorrow at 3:30, site locked down at 1. It's invigorating
in a way to be working so much. Makes the rest of life seem like cake :-)
a rough total - at 12:00am tonight/tomorrow I will have worked 28 hours and it will just be Wednesday. This week should be the most I've ever worked in my life thusfar. It's not so bad. Shit - It's not dicks. (note the proud pagemil logo - and yes it's a 3-d rotating icon - oh my goodness)
[5:11am]is it late or early, I can't tell... I think for me it's late. Finally at a stopping point at work. Going to head home and sleep solid for a few hours.
[4:33am]
a bit of delirium indeed. I think the sun will be up soon. I'm still at work. I was going to crash on the couch for a few hours, wake up and keep going,
and then, strangely, I got some kind of second wind. So I powered through the night - and in another hour or so - I'll go home and sleep.
[2:18am]
posting in the am :: i'm still at work, but in the long long ago, the before time, i did manage to almost finish a couple sites:

strange little dawg
Sunday, November 11th
[3:42am]
Strange little dawg inspiration is. I've made a bunch of new splash images for this color theme. And now I think I must find some sleep
now somewhere.
Just saw waking life. Go see it. Other small blessing of the day: Coke Slurpee. It's like a slurpee AND a coke in one. How can it get any better than that?
This coming 9 days or so is going to be crunchtime at my work. Nurseryroom is coming down to it. Launches the 21st - it will be perfect. On that work note, if you've checked out the seattle opera site before, check it out again - the new color theme is live (there's two more coming!)
[1:45am]
Cigarettes aren't about smoking. At least for me they're not. Sometimes they're about camaraderie, sometimes silence.
Sometimes a few moments outside smoking can do wonders for clarity, and patience.
Here's a few cool/funny things I've come across: mo' muffins mo' problems | cigarettes w/out nicotine? | odd todd
something to say
Saturday, November 10th
[10:23pm]
Wouldn't be amazing if we only spoke when we had something to say.
